What is your favourite season to celebrate in the year and why? Spring - and all that comes with it - new beginnings, growth, warmth and renewed energy.

What is your most memorable experience or activity in travel and leisure? Sailing to St Martins, Isles of Scilly - the skipper on the boat with no shoes on, the incredible crystal blue water and the whitest sand - it is likened to the Caribbean without the hassle of getting there! 

What is the gift you would be most pleased to receive? A spa or well-being experience, followed by dinner! 

What gift experience would you give to your family and friends?  Hmm a spa experience - after all they might invite me! 

What is your favourite season to celebrate in the year and why? It has to be the big one - Christmas, I know it's a cliché, but for me, it really is the best time to spend with family and close friends. Everyone seems busier than ever, especially as my children get older, but at Christmas, it is the one time we get everyone in one place at the same time. Oh, and let's not forget the food; Christmas is guilt-free.

What is your most memorable experience or activity in travel and leisure? I'm not too fond of heights, but I've been conquering my fears recently, I went to the top of the Space Needle in Seattle. The bar at the top has a revolving glass floor where I was brave enough to sit and have a drink! - not for too long, though!

What is the gift you would be most pleased to receive? A spa day, you can't beat a bit of pampering.

What gift experience would you give to your family and friends?  A themed or seasonal afternoon tea is a really lovely thing to do with a group of friends

What is your favourite season to celebrate in the year and why? Very tricky to narrow down to just one because I love the build up to Christmas and all the magic & excitement it brings! Equally I love Spring; a wonderful time of year with the promise of warmer weather, the pretty blossom on the trees and spending more time outdoors.

What is your most memorable experience or activity in travel and leisure? Living and working in the French Alps. Spending months at a time skiing, there is something very special about the mountains.

What is the gift you would be most pleased to receive? A night away at a spa hotel with a hot stone back massage included.

What gift experience would you give to your family and friends? We are all real foodies so it would have to involve eating... an afternoon tea, a tasting menu, a 3-course dinner... choices choices!

What is your favourite UK travel destination? Anywhere the surf is good.

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Consistently market your hotel and its benefits to new customers. All businesses lose customers and loyal customers on their own won’t keep you going. They are also not that loyal.

What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Surfing, sailing and hanging out with my family.

What is your favourite season to celebrate in the year and why? My favourite season to celebrate is Autumn as I love Halloween and my birthday is also in October! 

What is your most memorable experience or activity in travel and leisure? My most memorable activity was going on an open top tour bus around Paris and seeing all the main sights in the span of only two hours. 

What is the gift you would be most pleased to receive? I would be most pleased to receive anything soft – I am a big fan of fluffy socks and blankets! 

What gift experience would you give to your family and friends? I would gift a spa experience to my family & a lovely dinner to my friends! No one can say no to some well needed quality time. 

What is your favourite season to celebrate in the year and why? My favourite season to celebrate is Spring. I love seeing flowers starting to grow, ready for Summer and being able to spend time with family over the Easter weekend... and of course, the Easter eggs!

What is your most memorable experience or activity in travel and leisure? My most memorable experience in travel and leisure was going to Park Güell in Barcelona, the artwork is amazing and has beautiful views across the city.

What is the gift you would be most pleased to receive? I would be most pleased to receieve a dinner voucher, I love being able to spend time with friends and family so would love a voucher to be able to enjoy some delicious food whilst having a catch up.

What gift experience would you give to your family and friends? The gift experience I would give to my family and friends would be something unforgettable, perhaps a city break or a spa day.

What do you bring to the Gift Voucher Brilliance team? With a varied background in arts and hospitality management, I'm able to provide admin/client support to most areas of the business.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? Windsor is one of our family favourites. It's also super easy to hop on the train to London from there.

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Make sure that you are targeting the right audience for your business

What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Running around after my toddler! When I do get time to myself I enjoy swimming and reading.

What do you bring to the Gift Voucher Brilliance team?  A blend of innovative and systematic SEO procedures to establish and capture search and direct bookings performance.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? Mawgan Porth. A very small Cornish town that has made the most incredible memories for me. 

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Find the competitor that inspires you and is at the top. Aim higher!

What do you enjoy doing when not at work? I love to run, hike, paddleboard, and surf. Adventure!

What is your favourite UK travel destination? Bath Spa

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Today's digital world is all about photography! Images are the quickest, most powerful way of transmitting information. Our brains process visuals 60,000 times faster than text, so it’s vital to invest in professional photography.

What do you enjoy doing when not at work? I enjoy getting lost in the wilderness.

What is your favourite season to celebrate in the year and why? I love Easter and Springtime best. All the flowers start to come out, the sun shines more and celebrating Easter is always joyful, especially with family, friends and good food!

What is your most memorable experience or activity in travel and leisure? Afternoon tea at Betty’s on my honeymoon. There was a live pianist (coincidentally playing some of my favourite songs!), and the attention to detail was incredible. Plus, the cake was delicious! 

What is the gift you would be most pleased to receive? Afternoon tea, or anything coffee and cake related!

What gift experience would you give to your family and friends? I'd probably gift a food experience, like a cooking class. They're great fun and you get to enjoy learning how to make the meal, as well as eating it!

What do you bring to the Gift Voucher Brilliance team? I am hard working and very passionate about programming, I enjoy thinking outside of the box and bringing in fresh ideas for development, as well as keeping up to date with the latest technologies.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? Devon! I moved from Nottingham over 17 years ago and have been loving it here ever since.

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? It's so important to have a modern and up to-date website, as it's usually the first thing potential customers see. A well optimised, easy to use website that is aesthetically pleasing increases brand awareness and sets you apart from competitors. 

What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Fishing and going to the gym, also eating food.

What is your favourite season to celebrate in the year and why? I love Summer the most, lots of my friends are back home from university then and it's a great time to see them and go camping.

What is your most memorable experience or activity in travel and leisure? Going to Venice last winter. We did lots of exploring and the buildings there are amazing.

What is the gift you would be most pleased to recieve? I love cooking so any kitchen equipment!

What gift experience would you give to your family and friends? Proabably a dinner out, it's a lovely gift to receive.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? My favourite UK travel destination is the Eden Project.

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? One tip for hospitality businesses in the digital age: Be mobile first when connecting and being connected to customers. Everyone’s got a mobile.

What do you enjoy doing when not at work? I enjoy coaching fencing and spending time with the family.

What do you bring to the Gift Voucher Brilliance team? I bring years of analysis, design & development experience in delivering solutions for bespoke software projects alongside a passion to deliver & exceed our clients' expectations.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? My favourite UK travel destination is Bath, Somerset, where I often take in the roman architecture whilst enjoying a local cider.

My one tip for hospitality businesses in the digital age is to invest in scalable and modular solutions to ensure services are always available to their target audience & new features are integrated seamlessly.

What do you enjoying doing when not at work? When not at work, I enjoy photography, playing snooker and pool & travelling around Devon.
